From December 20, 2022, amendments to the rules for confirming compliance with the requirements of technical regulations will come into force. This was reported in the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A joint order of the acting director has been published. Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 23, 2022 No. 1185, Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 21, 2022 No. KR DSM-135 and Deputy Prime Minister - The Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 22, 2022 No. 445-NK "On Amendments to the Joint Order of the Minister of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 28, 2018 No. 287, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 16, 2018 No. 266 and the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 2, 2018 No. 500 "On approval of the rules for confirming compliance with the requirements of technical regulations, compliance with prohibitions and restrictions on conditionally released goods in terms of technical regulation."

The amendments introduced provide for the deadline for the completion of customs control by officials of state revenue bodies in respect of conditionally released goods. Now the maximum period for confirming compliance with the requirements of technical regulations by employees of state revenue bodies is 4 working days from the moment of submission of documents confirming the safety of imported goods to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The obligation of officials of state revenue bodies to complete customs control in respect of conditionally released goods is a guarantee of timely recognition of foreign goods as goods of the Eurasian Economic Union.
