The Order of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance of the Republic of  Kazakhstan  No. 1223 dated November 23, 2023 amended to the Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 20, 2018 No. 248 «On approval of the Rules for the sale, use and destruction of detained goods, reimbursement of costs for their transportation (transportation), transshipment (loading, unloading), storage, other expenses related to the preparation for the sale and sale of detained goods, as well as the return of amounts received from their sale».

The changes were made in accordance with the Law of the Republic of  Kazakhstan dated June 27, 2022 «On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities» in order to exclude discriminatory terminology in relation to persons with disabilities, namely, changing the wording «homes for the elderly and disabled» to «medical-social institutions (organizations) for the elderly and persons with disabilities». Editorial amendments and amendments on legal technology are also being made in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On legal acts».
