
Based on the annual result of 2023, the tax revenues of subsoil users to the consolidated budget of the country amounted to 10,6 trillion tenge.
There are 5 183 subsoil users under tax control, whose tax revenues provide 35 percent of the republican budget and 100 percent of the National Fund.
According to the result of tax control for 2023, 561 billion tenge was recovered from subsoil users.
In addition, the order of 160 billion tenge was received by the budget as a result of increased tax rates on mined metals from January 1, 2023.
Currently, an analysis of world prices and conditions for other solid minerals mined in the country is being conducted in order to fairly withdraw natural rents.
Additionally, as part of strengthening control measures over transfer pricing, as well as capital withdrawal, amendments to the Law on Transfer Pricing have been developed, which are supported by OECD experts.
These amendments have been developed taking into account international and domestic practice and are aimed at preventing government losses in international business transactions.
The legislation is under discussion in the Mazhilis of the Parliament.
Moreover, in 2023, the visit of OECD experts took place, who noted that the international and domestic legal framework of Kazakhstan provide a sufficient guarantee of compliance with information confidentiality requirements.
