From today, the provisions of the Law providing for the bankruptcy of an individual have come into force.

      And on this starting day of the bankruptcy project, Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Birzhanova E.E. visited the Government for the citizens of Almaly district and the State Revenue Department for the Medeu district of Almaty as part of an explanation of the topic "Implementation of the Law "On the restoration of Solvency and Bankruptcy of Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

     At the meeting, the Vice Minister of Finance gave answers to questions from the population and representatives of the mass media of Almaty.

      As we can see, citizens use their right to apply for the application of the out-of-court bankruptcy procedure by visiting the public service center.

It is important to know that applications for the application of the out-of-court bankruptcy procedure can be submitted not only by coming to the PSC. This can be done online through Egov, IS PSC, mobile application "E-salyk-Azamat".

      This is done for the convenience of citizens. Acceptance of applications and automatic reconciliation with the data of interested state and other bodies for compliance of the debtor with the input criteria is carried out through an information system.

      The main thing is that citizens should understand that this is not a credit write-off, since the recognition of bankruptcy will be followed by such consequences as:

they will not be able to take out loans for five years (except for obtaining micro-loans from pawnshops);
repeated bankruptcy is possible only after seven years;
the financial condition will be checked three years after the bankruptcy.

      There are no such consequences when restoring solvency.

      Everyone should understand that having gone bankrupt, a citizen lowers his credit rating, and it is necessary to weigh all the pros and cons, that is, to make a deliberate decision on bankruptcy.

     In order to clarify the main provisions of bankruptcy procedures, we held field meetings with residents of all regional centers and cities of republican significance.

    Conducting explanatory work in the city of Almaty is very important due to the fact that, according to credit bureaus, there is the largest number of problem loans here.

    About a million citizens, including more than 224 thousand Almaty residents, have made a delay on loans for a period of more than 1 year.
