The project was developed by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Amendments are being made regarding the exclusion of competence from the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On State Regulation of the Production and turnover of Tobacco Products" (hereinafter referred to as the Law) of paragraph 3 of Article 11 "Before the start of the production and (or) import of tobacco products, persons engaged in the production and (or) import of tobacco products are required to submit an application in the manner determined by rules for assigning PIN codes to tobacco products".

The development of the project was carried out in order to bring the by-law into compliance with the norms of the Law, taking into account the changes made.

The implementation of the Project will not require the allocation of funds from the republican budget.

The adoption of the Project will not entail negative socio-economic and/or legal consequences.

The purpose of the implementation is to invalidate the Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 15, 2017 No. 102 "On approval of the Rules for assigning personal identification numbers-codes for tobacco products".

The project complies with international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan and decisions of international organizations to which the Republic of Kazakhstan is a party.

The project is posted on a single platform of Internet resources of state bodies, as well as the Internet portal of open regulatory legal acts (http://legalacts.egov.kz ).
