Marat Sultangaziyev made a report at the Second Forum of International Cooperation “One Belt One Road” in China

On 25 April 2019, in Pekin (People's Republic of China) was held an opening ceremony of thematic sessions of the Second Forum of the International Cooperation «One Belt One Road».

            During the Forum were held 12 sessions in total, the agenda of which included such key issues as infrastructural development, trade economic cooperation, investments and resources, financial interaction, cultural exchanges and others. Heads of state authorities from more than 60 countries of the world, large international organizations, as well as representatives of the business community took part in the sessions.

          Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Sultangaziyev made a report on theme «Development of business environment for sustainable development» during the session «Trade Connectedness».

During his speech he emphasized the role of fiscal authorities in the implementation of the tasks facing the countries participating in the initiative «One Belt One Road». Since the realization of the initiative by the custom and tax services of Kazakhstan and China a lot of work has been done to create favorable conditions to improve trade and transit potential and creating a fair and transparent tax system, which in turn helps to eliminate barriers to cross-border trade and provide favorable conditions for attracting investment.

         At the end of his speech, the Chairman of the SRC MF RK Marat Sultangaziyev noted that there was a positive and constructive dialogue between the fiscal services of the OBOR member countries, which aims to solve strategic problems and increase the economic potential of the entire region.
