MORE THAN 75 THOUSAND APPEALS WERE MADE BY OPERATORS
OF CALL-CENTER ON TAX ISSUES
Citizens who apply to call-center are interested in information on tax debts, registration of taxpayers, vehicle tax from individuals and debts for this type of tax. Also, callers often ask about the rules of filling and withdrawal of tax reporting forms (TRF).
The Unified call-center (UCC) for tax issues "1414" has been functioning under the State Revenue Committee since March 6, 2019.
Calls of citizens who have applied to the Unified call-center of the Republic of Kazakhstan "1414" on tax issues are redirected to the UCC SRC.
Since its formation, the UCC SRC operators have processed more than 75,000 calls.
The most frequently asked questions in the 1st half of 2019 were:
- tax debt - 15 428 appeals or 21.1 % of the total amount (date of debt formation and for what types of taxes; availability of restrictive documents in the card file of the Bank of the taxpayer (orders on suspension of expenditure operations, writs of execution from bailiffs, etc.);
- registration of taxpayers, non-residents - 9 156 appeals or 12.5 % of the total number of appeals;
- tax on vehicles from individuals and debt on this type of tax - 9 008 appeals or 12.3 % (due to the largest number and amount of debt on this type of tax);
- on electronic invoices - 6 243 appeals, or 8.6 % (in connection with the introduction from 01.01.2009 in the tax legislation of the mandatory statement of the EI by VAT payers: how to work in the IS EI after the update of crypto-flows; how to reject an erroneous or corrected invoice; etc.);
- filling and withdrawal of TRF - 4 107 appeals or 5.6 % (due to the onset in March and May of the deadline for submission of declarations for 2018 and the 1st quarter of 2019);
The largest number of appeals comes from the following regions: Nursultan - 16 962 (23.2 %); Almaty - 14 473 (19.8 %); Shymkent - 3 294 (4.7 %).
The regions from which the least number of appeals was received are: North Kazakhstan region - 646 (0.9 %); Kyzylorda region - 1 000 (1.4 %).
After receiving the information, the subscriber is invited to evaluate the work of the operator of the UCC. Thus, in the 1st half of 2019, 9 925 ratings were issued to operators, of which 8 509 operators (85.7%) received a rating of "5"; a rating of "4" put up 354 subscriber (3.6 %);
The SRC notes that individuals and legal entities can officially apply to the state revenue authorities on paper or through the e-Government Portal via the electronic channel.
In general, in the first half of 2019, the SRC MF RK received 3 219 appeals from individuals and legal entities, of which 1 339 statements, 410 complaints, 1 470 others.
The blog of the Chairman of the Committee Marat Sultangaziyev also receives appeals. All 1889 appeals received during the first half of this year were answered.
Due to the popularity of social networks and messengers, the Committee maintains pages and accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, Youtube and Telegram channels. In the republic, over the past 8 months, through the WhatsApp messenger, more than 12 thousand questions have been answered.
The most frequently asked questions from taxpayers are related to:
- calculation of individual income tax on property income;
- tax benefit;
- taxation of non-residents;
- tax amnesty;
- cash registers;
- taxes on land, property and transport of individuals;
- electronic invoices;
- tax reporting and other issues to clarify tax and customs legislation.
