PROHIBITED IN THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN OF DRUGS, DISGUISED UNDER THE FORM OF CHANDELIERS, TRIED TO IMPORT IN KAZAKHSTAN

Violations were identified at the customs post of ICBC "Khorgos" by customs officers together with employees of the BS of the CNS RK and DEI in Almaty region.

In the boxes, under the guise of chandeliers with the inscription "GLASS", 60 kg of drugs of Chinese origin prohibited for import into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan were revealed.  Drugs were seized.

Also, at the entrance to the Republic of Kazakhstan from China, detained tobacco brands "Cavallo" and "Milano" in the amount of 18 500 packs (370,000 pieces of cigarettes) with a total weight of 370 kg.

On the same day, during the customs control when passing the x-ray apparatus "Rapiscаn" citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan was identified and arrested in the amount of 52 units of radio brand "Baofeng" on the importation of which requires special permission from the authorities of RK.

Currently, all the circumstances of the case are clarified, the customs value of the detained goods is determined. After that, all involved persons will be brought to justice according to the current legislation.
