As part of the work on mutual recognition of the Institute of Authorized Economic Operators (hereinafter referred to as AEO), a bilateral meeting of representatives of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey (hereinafter referred to as the Parties) was held in Almaty from November 16 to 17, 2022.
During this event, a visit was made to the customs posts "Zhetysu" DGD in the city of Almaty and "Nur Zholy" DGD in the Zhetysu region, where representatives of the Turkish delegation were familiarized with the implementation of customs control upon arrival / departure of goods at the customs post.
There was also a demonstration of the implementation of customs operations on the territories and premises of Kazpost JSC, which is an AEO.
In addition, representatives of the Turkish delegation got acquainted with the activities of KTZ Express JSC in terms of compliance with the conditions for inclusion in the AEO register (control of entry and exit from the warehouse, video surveillance system, etc.).
Following the visit, representatives of the Parties noted that the current customs legislation of both states regarding the assignment of AEO status has similarities, which in turn The queue facilitates the simplification of the procedure for concluding an Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Turkey.
