
On March 30, 2022, video-conference negotiations between Mr. Ye. Kozhabergenov, Head of ICD, the SRC of the Ministry of Finance of the RK and Mr. Wang Ke, Deputy Director General of the National Office of the Port Administration of China's General Administration of Customs took place at the initiative of the Chinese side.
The meeting discussed the issues of cooperation within the framework of the development of "Single Window" between the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and China's General Administration of Customs.
Ye.Kozhabergenov noted that due to introduction of "Single Window', foreign trade operators do not have to go to various level of authorities to obtain documents and permits. Customs procedures take less time and time and monetary costs of foreign trade operators reduce.
Head of Customs operations, of the SRC of the Ministry of Finance of the RK ZH.Shaimov informed the delegates of the Chinese side about the development of the "Single Window' information system for import and export operations. He said that hanks to the "Single Window', the transparency of the actions of customs and other state bodies is increased, the human factor is eliminated when making decisions.
Wang Ke suggested that the Kazakh side consider possible areas of cooperation within the framework of the Chinese initiative "Smart Customs, smart border, smart communication" and promote the exchange of experience in the use of "Single window".
The parties agreed that the measures taken to exchange experience in the field of customs administration play a crucial role in maintaining and developing cooperation between the administrations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that customs cooperation between the countries will continue to be built on a friendly basis, and the decisions taken will contribute to improving the effectiveness of comprehensive cooperation.
