
At the initiative of the Kazakh side, the Committee held a meeting between the leadership of the Ministry of Finance and the Committee with representatives of the customs and tax services of the EAEU member states, during which topical issues of the traceability system for goods of the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed.
The Committee demonstrated the information system of electronic invoices developed in Kazakhstan, which allows to fully automate the processes of control over the circulation of goods included in the list of exemptions within the framework of our country's membership in the World Trade Organization.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue work on improving the traceability system to further scale up the positive experience of Kazakhstan within the EAEU.
The meeting also discussed the transition to a digital format for processing the customs transit procedure for rail transportation. The parties agreed to bring this issue up for discussion at the site of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
